Chunky Chocolate Ice Cream

Chunky Chocolate Ice Cream

  • 2 cups chocolate milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2/3 cup chopped milk chocolate
  1. Combine 1 cup of the chocolate milk, the cocoa and corn syrup in a 2 quart pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. After it boils remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm

  2. Then, in separate bowl, beat eggs until fluffy, gradually add sugar and continue to beat until sugar is dissolved.

  3. Gradually add egg mixture to cooled chocolate mixture continuing to beat with mixer

  4. Finally stir in the remaining chocolate milk, cream and vanilla. Chill mixture 1 hour.

    Freeze and ripen in your ice cream freezer according to it’s instructions
