Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, or margarine (soft)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 package chocolate chips (6 ounces)
  1. Preheat oven to 350.

    Cream butter/margarine and sugar together.

    Add egg, water and vanilla.

    Gradually add dry ingredients until well blended.

    Bake 10-12 minutes.
