Oriental Cabbage Salad

Oriental Cabbage Salad
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
- 4 green onions
- 1 pkg ramen noodles, broken
Dressing
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 package chicken flavoring from ramen noodles
- 1 tsp msg (optional)
Chop cabbage and onions and combine in large bowl, refrigerate
Combine dressing ingredients in jar and shake or stir well.
Toast almonds. This can be done in the microwave on a pie plate. Be careful not to burn.
Just before you're ready to serve, crush ramen noodles and stir in with cabbage mixture, add almonds.
Stir in dressing and let set 5 minutes. Serve
