Black Bottom Cupcakes

Black Bottom Cupcakes

Cake

  • 1 1/2-1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup water

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 egg, unbeaten
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  1. Stir together the dry ingredients and set aside.

  2. Make filling mixture and set aside.

  3. To dry ingredients add the water, then the other wet ingredients.

  4. Fill cupcakes full and add one heaping teaspoonful of filling mixture to the top of each cupcake.

  5. Bake at 350 for 20-22 mins.

  6. Makes approximately 18 cupcakes.
