Cream of Broccoli Soup

Cream of Broccoli Soup
- 5 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 can condensed chicken broth
- 5 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup onion
Cook broccoli, broth, and onion until tender.
Meanwhile melt butter in saucepan, whisk in flour, and stir in milk, cook until thickened.
Add to broccoli, add cheese, and heat a little longer.
Works with cauliflower or asparagus. May add a little ham or bacon.
