Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

“This is a recipe that Grandma Johnson (Lorene) used to make for her family. It is very rich and especially good with coffee ice cream, however, we used to pour a little milk over it.” – Mama J
Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
Topping
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 3/4 cups hot water
Heat oven to 350.
Stir together first 8 ingredients and spread in pan,10×8
Blend brown sugar and cocoa in small bowl and sprinkle over the top.
Pour hot water over all.
Bake 45 minutes.
