Raspberry Bars
This was a recipe from Grandma Lorene. When they lived at Valley View they had lots of raspberry bushes so she made lots of jam. – Mama J
Raspberry Bars
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1 10 oz jar of raspberry jam
Heat oven to 400.
Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Press half of mixture in greased 9×13 pan.
Spread with jam, and top with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
