Striped Delight

Striped Delight
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Filling
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 8 oz container Cool Whip, thawed
- 2 (4 serving size) Jell-O instant pudding
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and 2 Tbs milk until smooth.
Fold in half with whipped topping, spread on crust.
Prepare pudding as directed on package, pour over cream cheese layer.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Before serving, spread remaining Cool Whip on top.
Garnish with grated chocolate or chopped nuts.
Try with pistachio, lemon or butterscotch flavors.
Another variation is to use an Oreo crust. Put 35 Oreos into a food processor until fine crumbs form. Transfer to bowl, and mix in 6-7 tbsp of melted butter. Press into a 13 x 9 pan.
